This course has been developed for staff working in primary and secondary school environments who have responsibility for the safety and well-being of children and young people. It aims to equip learners with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to recognise concerns of child sexual abuse, respond to disclosures, and take action. Course outcomes support schools and school staff to meet their obligations under the National Principles for Child Safe Organisations, moving beyond awareness to active child safe practice.
