Why Ditto's Keep Safe Adventure Program Matters

Every child deserves the chance to learn personal safety skills before they ever need to use them. Ditto's Keep Safe Adventure program helps children build the skills, language and confidence to recognise unsafe situations and know when, and how, to ask for help.

Recognising Warning Signs

Helps children build awareness of their body's warning signs and when something doesn't feel right.

Supports children to identify physical warning signs, such as a fast heartbeat or a sore tummy, and to trust their feelings when something feels unsafe.

Speaking Up & Seeking Help

Introduces children to simple actions they can take when something doesn't feel right.

Encourages children to practice help-seeking actions, such as saying 'no', moving away and telling a trusted adult.

Confidence & Resilience

Supports children's confidence through consistent, age-appropriate safety messages.

Gives children clear language and practical strategies through music, dance and storytelling, helping to reduce vulnerability and build lasting confidence and resilience.

Body Safety & Autonomy

Strengthens children's understanding that their body belongs to them.

Explores the idea that our bodies are private, helping them to notice when something doesn't feel right and knowing it's ok to say no.

Personal Boundaries

Helps children understand personal boundaries.

Builds children's language and awareness around their own and others' personal boundaries.

Building a Safety Team

Encourages children to identify trusted adults they can turn to for help.

Helps children identify their own 'Safety Team' of trusted adults, while encouraging parents, carers and educators to stay alert and responsive if a child reaches out, even in small or indirect ways.

Supporting Resources for Every Audience

Ditto's Keep Safe Adventure program is supported by practical, ready-to-use resources that help extend personal safety learning in the classroom, the service, and the home.

What Teachers & Educators Say

“What an amazing interactive show! The children in our class were engaged, and loved getting up to dance. We have enjoyed working our way through the workbook and finding the songs on Spotify. Thank you so much.”
Jessica W, Early Childhood Educator
Coolum Beach, QLD
“A fantastic incursion. All students were engaged, and the conversations after the session were very positive. The presenter and Ditto were brilliant, and the topics covered were appropriate for the students’ age level. The presentation also incorporated movement breaks, which kept students engaged throughout. It was a lot of fun. Thank you!”
Danielle M, Primary School Teacher
Moriac, VIC
“Ditto’s Keep Safe Adventure show was both incredibly fun and highly educational! My year 2 students were buzzing with excitement and couldn't wait to share what they learned. A standout moment was the clarification on private parts; many of my students were surprised to learn that the mouth is a private part, and the show handled this with such clarity and age-appropriate care. It was a vital 'lightbulb moment' for them. Thank you for empowering our students with the language and confidence to stay safe - what a great show!”
Joseph A, Primary School Teacher
Smithton, TAS
"We had our K-2 students and they loved the interactive performance. Really engaging for our kids whilst passing on important information. The messages were clear, and the resources shared were brilliant for our class teachers to access before and after the show."
Kathryn G, Primary School Teacher
Molesworth, TAS
"A great interactive, informative, and age-appropriate show for the children. They explored how to be safe in an effective manner through sharing visual stories, song and dance."
Sandrine Q, Early Years Educator
Edensor Park, NSW
"My 3-year-old son attended a Bravehearts’ Ditto’s Keep Safe Adventure show at daycare today. The daycare sent out an email beforehand, confirming with parents if they were comfortable with their child attending. How incredible that our children can be taught, in an age-appropriate way, about personal safety skills. We are so lucky that our children have access to education about personal safety thanks to organisations like Bravehearts."
